Murals

Murals are a unique and fun way to bring your own colour and style to your space. In 2022, Caitlin began painting murals around Yeppoon and Rockhampton. She has completed three public murals on Yeppoon ammenities, one in a local brewery, and two private murals - all while working full time as a primary school teacher.

Her greatest achievement was when she was involved in a mural project for Stocklands' shopping centre in Rockhampton, where two large 6m panels became her largest canvas to date. A kookaburra and pale-headed rosella stand proudly on this wall, and can be seen via the main road that passes through Rockhampton.

  • School Mural

    Over the September holidays 2024, Caitlin completed her first school mural and largest mural to date.

  • Molly the Magpie

    Molly the Magpie sits on a wall at Stir and Stitch, Yeppoon, as part of an outdoor gallery.

  • The Sister’s Coffee Bar

    Capturing Cooee Bay at sunrise perfectly with these colours. This mural features the local galahs and even the pineapple stand that is famous to the Cooee Bay area. Grab a coffee and take a seat in front of this interactive mural!

  • Ol’ Coteri

    Sign writing for a local coffee shop.

  • Botanical Gardens

    You’ll find two pipes hand painted with wildlife found at the zoo nearby the playground at the Botanic Gardens in Rockhampton. These pipes have been here for over 50 years and were in need of a makeover!

  • Private Water Tank

    Completed April 2024, this stunning artwork transformed a large water tank that sat at the entry way to a rural home. This mural was inspired by the local birds found around the property.

  • Curloo - Lammermoor Amenities

    Caitlin’s first mural completed in July 2022 as part of the Art Walk in Yeppoon.

    This is Caitlin’s other panel at the Stocklands mural, featuring a kookaburra.

    In 2023, Caitlin was chosen to be part of a team of 4 artists to complete a mural along the exterior wall of Stocklands, facing the cinemas. This is one of her two panels, featuring a pale-headed rosella.

    Completed in August 2023 this mural is inside the Crimson Finch brewery on Main Beach, Yeppoon.

  • Yellow Chats Public Amenities

    Caitlin’s second mural was commissioned by Bird Life Capricorn to bring awareness to endangered native birds from the region. This mural features Yellow Chats. This mural can be seen at Yeppoon on the Main Beach, opposite Lure Living.

    Completed in the Spring of 2023, this mural is on a private property in Mulambin.

    In December of 2022, Caitlin was again commissioned by Bird Life Capricorn to create a mural to bring awareness to endangered birds from the local area. This mural featured the glossy black cockatoo, and can be see on Yeppoon Main Beach.
